The first O’Briens Irish Sandwich Cafe in Asia opened in Singapore in 1999.  Following its Irish Roots, our reputation has been based on our famous made-to-order hot or cold sandwiches, tripledeckers, wraps, and toasties.  Our extensive range also includes espresso based coffees, speciality teas, fresh seasonal based soups, deli dishes, salads, and a wide range of soft drinks including freshly squeezed fruit and vegetable juices, and smoothies. At O’Briens we pride ourselves in providing excellent quality food at affordable prices.

We firmly believe that the starting point for a healthy lifestyle is the food which we eat on a daily basis. Thus we ensure that we only source the best possible produce and freshest ingredients.

The O’Briens difference can be seen at any of our stores early in the morning when the staff start to prepare the sauces and fillings to be used that day. Yes, you will see avocados being peeled and sliced for the guacamole, rather than using a pre packed alternative full of preservatives; or the whole muscle ham and block cheeses being sliced, rather than the cheaper processed products. The chicken and salmon are both natural products free of chemicals and preservatives. Then there are the sugar-free and low sugar content breads which we use. They take longer to make in the baking process, but the taste is so much better. Every sandwich or wrap comes packed with choice fresh salads and vegetables, essential for a healthy diet. Even our coleslaw is made in house with a mayo-free dressing of virgin olive oil, red wine vinegar, lemon juice, honey and seasoning.

The rich Italian style coffee is roasted in Singapore from a blend of beans harvested in Timor Leste, Flores, and South America. The freshness can be tasted in each cup.

The teas are sourced from Sri Lanka which deservedly has the reputation for producing the finest black teas in the world.
